Bye-Bye Yahoo/Gmail.

I have had it. I have been using them for convenience to save disk-space and be a spam honey-pot.

But having those companies up in my business for their own gain without any way to speak to human?

No. Thanks.

But Sweet, Clean, Precious Baby Little Infant Jesus, dealing with any company that doesn’t give me a human to talk to is going to stop.

Accordingly, if I have to prove to your machines that I am not a machine, we are doing something backwards.

I’m keeping my flickr account for now. But next year I’m going to demote it to a free account. I think I’ll hold onto my images my own-self hence forth. I’m going to slowly start removing them from flickr, and then I’m going to use end up using the free flickr for lolcats and the like.

Seriously, dealing with any one web-service oriented company really is starting to suck. Not all them. An acquaintance I know owns a company where they still a huge 1-800 number there for anyone to call and kick ass people to chat with about the business or support.

If you still believe in a service based economy, it means you start with good service. Yahoo has functionally become a facade. Their is no chance for human contact. Same with google and all of its attending phalanges like youtube, or competitors facebook or twitter.
