Breach of Peace: Portraits of the 1961 Mississippi Freedom Riders is an interesting collection of a then-and-now portraiture tied to the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the Freedom Rides in the United States Of America. The value to history that each of these persons has generated is especially important in the time of thoughtless demagogues. It would be lovely to see contemporary political activists adopt a similar stance rather than use the metaphors of war and violence.
And I love shilling for good photography. From tnc.
